Carlo Maglinao SAP Issue on posting with an RE account assignment via FB01

[Note: this will sound greek to non-SAP users. But I'm documenting SAP issues and other related topics on this blog.] I encountered a system error while posting a journal entry via FB01. The error says no Company Code in FI posting when in fact you already assigned a Company Code. This is an issue in ECC 6.0 when posting with RE account assignments.
